Avalanche Discussion
( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )A weak pacific trough is expected to move into the area this evening possibly bringing a few inches of snow to the mountains and very light accumulations in the valley through Friday morning. Strong Southwest winds from 25-40 mph are to accompany this system. Both the snowfall and winds are ecpected to diminish early Friday afternoon. Mountain temperatures are to cool to near twenty degrees overnight with a high on Friday in the mid twenties expected. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. Mostly stable snow exists and avalanches are not likely.
