Above approximately 1300 m snow will fall until the early morning. As a consequence of a moderate wind from westerly directions, mostly small wind slabs will form during the second half of the night especially adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas. The fresh snow as well as the wind slabs represent the main danger. They can be released. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on very steep slopes and in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. The number and size of avalanche prone locations will increase with altitude. Natural avalanches: Dry avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small, especially on extremely steep slopes.

10 to 20 cm of snow will fall until the early morning above approximately 1500 m. The fresh snow as well as the wind slabs are bonding only slowly with the old snowpack in particular on shady slopes. The old snowpack is favourably layered. At low and intermediate altitudes only a little snow is lying.

The danger of natural avalanches will decrease gradually.
