Above approximately 2000 m: In gullies and bowls mostly small wet snow slides and avalanches are possible.

Snowpack Structure

Below approximately 1900 m hardly any snow is lying. The old snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The older wind slabs are to be found especially in gullies and bowls and at high altitudes. The snowpack will be generally moist.
