Overnight air temperatures dropped into the upper teens to mid 20s in most areas. The general avalanche hazard will be LOW during the early morning hours in areas with thick, hard melt freeze crusts. The hazard will be MODERATE on steep slopes after these crusts soften and in areas where the crust is thin and unconsolidated snow exist beneath these crusts. Avoid steep slopes after snow surfaces have softened.

Scattered snow and rain showers are possible overnight and into the day. Accumulations of a trace to an inch are possible at the higher elevations. Temperatures are expected to be in the 20s by daybreak and rise into the 30s in the mountains and into the 40s in the valleys. Winds will be west at 10 to 15 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard will be dependent on the temperatures. It will be LOW in areas where the snow surface freezes and remain hard. It could increase to MODERATE in areas where snow the snowpack only briefly freezes and then soften significantly during the day.
