Snow patches will remain very firm and icy with largest areas on steep North through East to South-East aspects above 850 metres, mainly around coire rims and in gullies. Forecast Weather Influences: It will be a clear, dry, sunny day with light mainly Easterly winds. After an overnight frost the daytime freezing level will be around 700 metres. Observed Weather Influences: A dry sunny clear day with light and variable winds. The freezing level rose to around 900 metres.
