Snowpack Summary
A widespread melt-freeze crust will form overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday in the mountains. As the day progresses on wednesday, this crust will thaw as temperatures rise and the freezing level climbs up.
Recent rain and warm temperatures have contributed to a significant reduction in the snowpack and have exposed several surface hazards.
At mid-mountain elevations, the average snowpack depth is approximately 150 cm.
