Avalanche Activity

On shady slopes a sometimes unfavourable avalanche situation will be encountered in some localities. The new snow and wind slabs represent the main danger.

The fresh snow of recent weeks and the deep wind slabs are lying on the unfavourable surface of an old snowpack in particular on steep, little used shady slopes.
