Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack after firming up in the cooler overnight temperatures will continue to slowly thaw and diminish and will be well bonded and stable throughout. Greatest amounts are mostly above 800m on North-West through North to Easterly aspects. Some extensive snowfield remain in a few places on North facing coire back walls and in gullies. Patches below 800m and on other aspects. Any new accumulations of summit snow are not expected to be significant. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Winds strong to gale South-Westerly backing Southerly in the afternoon when it is at its strongest. Freezing level around 900 metres overnight then rising to above the summits from daybreak. Precipitation falling as sleet and snow at summit levels which will diminish as temperatures rise by late afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: A mild day with summit temperatures around 3 degrees Celsius midday. Showery in the morning falling as rain at all levels, Winds moderate strength South-Westerly.
