The existing snowpack will continue to thaw and consolidate. The largest areas of which can be found above 800 metres, on West, through North and East to South aspects. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Saturday evening will bring a few hours of rain to all levels. Throughout Sunday, there will be frequent showers of rain, with some sleet and snow on the highest tops. Winds will be strong to very strong, South-Westerly. Overnight the freezing level will be well above the summits but will lower to around summit level by early Sunday morning, and remain there throughout the day. Observed Weather Influences: A very cloudy, low visibility day. Frequent light rain throughout. Winds were fresh to strong South-Westerly on the summits. The freezing level was around the tops in the morning, rising to above them in the afternoon.
