Avalanche conditions are generally safe. Approach steep slopes with caution if you find lingering fresh snow from the last snowfall, or rapidly warming snow surface conditions. Even just a small avalanche can become serious if it catches you in consequential terrain. Consider what lurks below you before committing to travel in steep or extreme terrain.
