Although some small surface slabs have formed from the weekend's snowfall that could be human triggered, the greater danger lies in deeper hard slabs to six feet that lie upon old faceted snow. Some possibility to trigger these slabs remains, particularly on very steep slopes that have shallow, weak points. Stay off the sides of steep ravines and drainages where small slides can pile up to dangerous depths.
