Avalanche conditions are generally safe. You may be able to trigger a small avalanche in an old, hard wind drift in very steep terrain. Evaluate all steep terrain on a slope-by-slope basis, looking for harder drifts of snow over softer, weaker, collapsible layers. Also, be careful around steep rocky slopes with variable snow cover. You can choose slopes with even snow coverage and fewer rocks to reduce your chance of triggering an avalanche.
