Mostly the avalanches are shallow but can be released in some cases by a single winter sport participant. This applies in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls on very steep slopes. The avalanches can be triggered in the faceted old snow and reach medium size in isolated cases. Afternoon: Several mostly small avalanches are possible as the snowfall level drops.

5 to 10 cm of snow has fallen since Saturday above approximately 2200 m. Wednesday: 2 to 5 cm of snow will fall in the afternoon above approximately 1400 m. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack on shady slopes. The weather conditions gave rise to moistening of the snowpack especially at low altitude. The new snow of the last few days is lying on surface hoar in some places. At intermediate and high altitudes snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. The numerous rocks hidden by the recent snow are the main danger.

5 cm of snow will fall on Thursday. The small quantity of fresh snow and the small wind slabs represent the main danger.
