Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected; stability will remain generally good. Greatest accumulations exist, specifically at the very top of West to North facing slopes and gullies above 850m and around coire rims. The avalanche hazard will be Low

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It will stay dry and relatively cold; wet bulb Freezing level around 800 metres, although the air temperatures will become significantly lower as the day progresses. The winds will be variable light to moderate Observed Weather Influences: Snow showers affected the area early in the period. Temperatures have fluctuated, although freezing levels during the day stayed around 800 metres. Winds have been light to moderate SSE then Southerly. ObservedSnowStability: There is a fresh cover of snow from around 400 metres. This has largely fallen on bare ground where it has consolidated rapidly during the day. Some deeper accumulations exist above 800 metres with isolated pockets of instability on mainly West through to Northerly aspects. Elsewhere the new cover is largely cosmetic; the older underlying snow has remained frozen and stable. The avalanche hazard is Low
