The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The wind slabs are to be found especially in gullies and bowls in all aspects and generally at high altitudes. The weather conditions from the early morning will give rise to gradual consolidation of the snowpack.

The mostly small wind slabs represent the main danger.
The strong wind has transported the new snow. The wind slabs have formed especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and generally at high altitudes. The weather conditions by the early morning will give rise to gradual consolidation of the snowpack. As a consequence of rising temperatures the snowpack will consolidate during the next few days.
