Avalanche Activity

Det er lett for en skiløper å løse ut skred i ferske fokksnøflak. Skredene kan bli middels store. Snø og litt vind vil danne ferske ustabile flak i leheng. Vær forsiktig i formasjoner som samler snø og danner myke flak.

Snowpack Structure

Det ligger nysnø i overflata etter siste dagers snøvær. I fjellet er nysnøen vindpåvirket og stedvis ligger skare i overflata. Det eldre snødekket er preget av mildværet i romjula, trolig til 700-800 moh..

Over mildværsgrensen kan det være store ansamlinger av fokksnø, men det er fortsatt generelt lite snø i regionen.

Fredag ble det observert begynnende kantkorn under den siste fokksnøen.
