The early morning will see quite favourable conditions generally, but the danger of wet avalanches will increase later. As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation moist and wet avalanches are possible in the late morning, but they can reach medium size. This applies in particular on steep slopes, as well as at the base of rock walls in particular at intermediate and high altitudes. The wind slabs can only be released by large loads in most cases. Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas and at transitions into gullies and bowls.

The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will soften earlier than the day before. The high temperatures as the day progresses will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack in particular at intermediate altitudes. In particular in the vicinity of peaks small wind slabs formed. These are lying on a crust in particular on shady slopes above approximately 2500 m.
