Forecast Snow Stability: The patchy snow cover, with deepest areas above 900 metres, will continue to thaw and consolidate at all levels. Isolated wet snow instabilities will persist on very steep terrain. Remaining cornices will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: Remaining mild with occasional rain during the day. Winds, light Easterlies at dawn but strengthening to become moderate Southerlies. Observed Weather Influences: A generally cloudy morning, brightening later. Mild with the freezing level above the summits. Very calm with little wind. ObservedSnowStability: The snow cover continues to thaw and consolidate. Patchy cover on most aspects, deepest above 900 metres with a mix of soft and old hard snow underfoot. Cornice stability is suspect. The avalanche hazard is Low.
