Especially on steep grassy slopes small and medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible. As a consequence of the precipitation the prevalence of the avalanche prone locations will increase as the day progresses.

The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The older wind slabs are to be found especially in gullies and bowls in all aspects and generally at high altitudes. The rain will give rise to increasing and thorough wetting of the old snowpack in all aspects above approximately 2000 m. The avalanche prone locations for wet avalanches are to be found in particular on very steep slopes and on steep grassy slopes.
