Wind slabs require caution.
Especially on wind-loaded slopes more small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized avalanches are possible. Avalanches can be released, mostly by large loads. The wind slabs are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls.
Tendency
In some regions 10 to 20 cm of snow will fall on Wednesday above approximately 1500 m. In the afternoon as a consequence of the new snow there will be an increase in the avalanche danger to level 2 (moderate).
