Kernpunkte

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. At the higher elevations pockets of soft surface slabs 10 to 30 inches deep exist in some steep, wind-loaded avalanche starting zones. These slabs could be triggered by the weight of a person or a snowmachine. Evaluate the snow and terrain carefully and avoid areas of concern.
