Snowfall accumulations of a couple inches are likely at the higher elevations by Thursday morning. Temperatures will moderate at elevation but will remain cold in the valleys. Wednesday’s highs will rise into the teens in the mountains and only into the single digits above zero in the valleys. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be MODERATE. Pockets of slab up to 18 inches in depth persist and could be triggered by skiers or riders who venture into steep avalanche terrain.
