The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. In isolated areas at the higher elevations near cliff bands and under cornices the potential exists to trigger surface slabs and deeper hard slabs with depths to five feet. While these slabs could be human triggered it is likely to take larger loads such as snow machines, multiple people on a slope at one time, or a cornice failure to initiate a slide. Periods of sunshine and warming temperatures may increase the sensitivity of these slabs and also provide the chance for loose slide activity.
