As a consequence of the rain individual small moist and wet avalanches are possible above approximately 1800 m. Especially gullies and bowls are unfavourable.

Above approximately 1800 m a little snow is lying. The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. On Thursday it will be very mild. The snowpack will become generally moist. As a consequence of high temperatures, rain up to high altitudes an unfavourable avalanche situation will develop. These weather conditions will give rise to extreme and thorough wetting of the snowpack also in high Alpine regions. These conditions will cause a rapid weakening of the snow drift accumulations also at high altitude.
