Forecast Snow Stability: Very limited snow cover with firm. well bonded old snow patches lingering around the higher summits. Most snow remains above 800 metres on North through East to South-East aspects. Little to no snow below 650 metres and most hillsides will be bare. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: High pressure will maintain dry conditions with North to North-Easterly winds slowly moderating over the summits, becoming light through the afternoon. The freezing level will be around 650 metres during the day. Observed Weather Influences: An improving day after early showers with good sunny spells developing in the afternoon. There was a fresh Northerly wind and the freezing level was around 900 metres late morning. ObservedSnowStability: Very limited snow cover with well bonded old snow patches and slivers lingering around the higher summits.
