The next Pacific disturbance will increase snowfall intensity during the day, and bring an additional three to six inches of accumulation by Thursday evening. Southwesterly to westerly ridgetop winds will range from 15 to 25 miles per hour.In the Tetons and the Greys River area, the general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW Thursday morning, and will slowly increase as new wind slabs build upon good sliding surfaces in leeward terrain. While unlikely, some potential may persist for deep slab avalanches to be triggered in isolated areas in the Togwotee Pass forecast zone, and the general avalanche hazard there will remain MODERATE.
