Avalanche Summary

Avalanche conditions are generally safe. Travel early in the day for more enjoyable and safer travel. Approach steep slopes with caution if you find rapidly warming, wet snow surfaces. Even a small avalanche can become serious if it knocks you off your feet in consequential terrain. Evaluate the terrain above and below you before committing to snow travel in steep or extreme terrain.
