Kernpunkte

There has been no significant change in the weather or snow conditions. The overall avalanche danger rating on the Skyline remains LOW.

Snow and Weather

Current Conditions: Temperatures have been on the rebound over the last 24 hours. They are crazy warm in the high country this morning with numerous locations pushing 40˚ F. The wind is light to moderate in speed from the southwest. It's slightly breezy along the highest peaks. There is hardly enough snow for much winter recreation. The snow that is on the ground has become loose and sugary.

Mountain Weather: We'll have mostly cloudy skies today with mild temperatures and increasing wind from the southwest. Temperatures will stay around 40˚ F. I'm guessing the wind is going to feel pretty breezy up there today. A storm moves in for the weekend but it stays to our north and just clips us. We might see a snowflake or two but I'd be surprised to actually see any measurable amounts. Temperatures remain fairly warm through the weekend.
