Lawinenprobleme
Recent Avalanche Activity
Some rollerballing and small, natural Loose Wet avalanches out of steep, sunny slopes yesterday. Otherwise minimal activity within the region.
Current Snowpack Conditions
The recent snowfall has begun to form a base. Loaded areas in the Alpine and High Alpine now have enough snow to cover the terrain uniformly.
In general the snowpack is still very thin with rocky conditions dominating.
The cold and clear weather is driving a faceting/weakening process and will need to be monitored ahead of any new snow.
Shady slopes have good cold snow where uniform cover exists. Steep, sunny slopes have been developing a melt freeze crust over the last 3-4 days.
Mountain Weather
Generally fine with N/NW winds increasing throughout day. FAFL 1300m.
Sliding Danger
Still minimal sliding danger.
