Early morning at Black Prince. The snow was very crusty (sun and warm affected) at below tree line. We weren't leaving tracks behind as the crust was very firm. As we progressed up, we observed as forecasted, a rapid warming in temperature. The crust slowly softened up. We saw lots of activity on the headwall (multiple sluffs). We decided to transition at treeline as the snow started to get very humid. Overall, good day out. We managed to minimize overhead hazards and navigated in low consequences terrain.
